He graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Rapp then pursued post graduate training at Pennsylvania Hospital, Pennsylvania, PA, where he completed an Internal Medicine Residency and was selected and served as Chief Medical Resident. He then pursued further training and was then selected for an Infectious Disease Fellowship which was completed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then continued as a staff physician at Pennsylvania Hospital, and was awarded the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Jefferson Medical College and University of Pennsylvania Health Systems, Philadelphia, PA.
In 1998, Dr. Rapp relocated to Los Angeles, and has been a senior partner at Comprehensive Care Infectious Disease Medical Group.
Dr. Rapp is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and has been serving the West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills communities as a respected consultant to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, local physicians and their patients. He has served on numerous Cedars Sinai Medical Center Committees including Infection Control, Antibiotic Utilization, and has been Clinical Chief of the Division of Infectious Disease.
During his down time, he enjoys theater, art and traveling.
