The medical director of TAIC is Dr. Irving Posalski. He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine and continues to serve as one of its Associate Clinical Professors specializing in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Posalski, pursued post graduate training at Los Angeles County Harbor General Hospital, Long Beach St Mary´s, and Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served as Chief Medical Resident and was selected for one of the first Infectious Disease Fellowships.
Dr. Posalski is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and has been practicing for over 25 years, serving the West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills communities as a respected consultant to local physicians and their patients. He is one if the founding board members of the Infectious Disease Association of California. With his highly regarded reputation for widespread expertise, he has been sought after for interviews on a broad range of topics relevant to public health including Travel Medicine, AIDS, hepatitis, the flu, etc. These interviews have appeared in various print and broadcast media formats.
Dr. Posalski is Past President of the Infectious Disease Association of California, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, District Past President of LA County Medical Association and member of the International Society of Travel Medicine.
